As every year, there is a chance for several thousands of blogs to raise awareness about one specific issue which should result in a global discussion – starting in the web of bloggers and reaching mass media as well as the individual minds. This year - my personal third year to take part in this action - WATER is focussed!

Why I personally regard water as an issue, can be seen in these two (unfortunately only) German videos on Youtube intended for the German »Deine Stimme gegen Armut« (your voice against poverty).

The first video is about dirty water in Africa and shortly describes the connection of us - as relatively wealthy people of Central Europe - to the ones suffering in Africa on contaminated water. The video is a direct appeal!

The second video is a short story about a fictive African boy whose turn it is to get water out of a well (Brunnen) walking ten kilometers each.

- At least clean water access for everyone on this planet!
